The Burk Hale Memorial - American Veterans Association, established by Burk-Elder: Hale, Third in honor of Burk Hale, Jr. and American Veterans, is a network of caring Friends providing a hand up and financial freedom for veterans needing assistance, and helping servicemen stay connected with family and friends.
Burk Hale, Jr., 1933-2003 (recognized by Who's Who just before he passed away), was a Korean War Veteran, and has a long record of community service, including private, public and in local government. In recognition of this one man's service to many, the Burk Hale Memorial - American Veterans Association has been established due to the increasing needs of America's Veterans. Burk Hale gave us all an example of how one person can make a difference, and that we can do even more if we work together.
